In this energetic role, you will handle retail sales transactions with precision, manage cash register operations efficiently, and assist customers with product knowledge and inquiries. Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and returns Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed Manage cash drawer handling with integrity, ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising displays to maintain an appealing store environment Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks, ensuring product availability for customers Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership in a retail setting is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers accurately Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
