Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift Upsell products and suggest add-ons to enhance customer experience and increase store sales Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive store environment Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits of items for sale Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; grocery store experience is a plus Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual ability is highly valued Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks during shifts is advantageous Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as stocking, merchandising, and customer service simultaneously Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or organizing displays Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where every customer leaves satisfied!
