Duties Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash, credit, or digital payments. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products. Handle cash drawer balancing at the end of shifts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for with basic math accuracy. Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves and participating in periodic stock counts. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone. Skills Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations for seamless transactions. Previous supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff. Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, change calculation, and sales reporting.
