Job Description
Job Summary :
Sapodilla's is seeking an individual to greet customers, manage inventory, operate the cash register, handle various transactions, utilize retail math for pricing and discounts, upsell food, communicate product knowledge, maintain checkout area cleanliness, and collaborate with the owners to meet store objectives. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to :
• Interacting with customers with a warm greeting Managing inventory levels, stock shelves and ensure food is displayed neatly and attractively. Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and returns effectively. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Communicate food knowledge clearly to customers, answering questions as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience in food industry or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. A proactive approach to upselling food and services. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand on your feet for entire shift.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
