Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional food cashier to join our restaurant staff. You will greet customers as they enter our restaurant, process food orders, collect payments, and package orders. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally. Responsibilities Manage transactions with customers using cash registers, both at the counter and on the phone Collect payments and issue receipts and change Package customer orders for pick-up and to-go orders Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Maintain clean and tidy counter and dining areas Preferred Skills Work experience as a cashier or in a similar role Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS Strong communication and time management skills Customer satisfaction-oriented High school degree
