In this energetic role, you'll handle retail sales transactions with precision, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive environment that keeps customers coming back. Whether managing cash register operations or assisting with product demos, your proactive approach will drive sales and enhance store operations. Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions and cash handling procedures with integrity. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and assisting with merchandising efforts to create an attractive shopping environment. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and adherence to cash register procedures. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges while maintaining accurate records. Demonstrate strong communication skills and phone etiquette when interacting with customers or team members. Requirements Prior experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer at shift end. Familiarity with POS systems and retail store product knowledge is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within store management roles. Strong communication skills, friendly demeanor, and excellent phone etiquette are essential for engaging customers positively. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
