Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for a smooth and enjoyable experience. In this energetic role, you'll handle retail sales transactions, operate the cash register with precision, and provide exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that every customer leaves satisfied, whether they're fueling up, browsing our convenience store, or seeking product recommendations. Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including fueling payments and store purchases Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing at shift end Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and well-maintained for optimal shopping experience Assist with grocery store-like duties such as inventory management, stocking supplies, and merchandising products effectively Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone Promote safety protocols and ensure compliance with store policies during all interactions Experience Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with retail math, basic math skills, and cash register operations will help you succeed in managing transactions accurately Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills are essential for delivering excellent customer service and collaborating with team members Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling, or retail store product knowledge will enhance your ability to engage customers confidently Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
