Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling, and credit card payments. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions about products. Manage cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store environment. Demonstrate strong communication skills by maintaining phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone. Experience Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience store environments. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions. Knowledge of grocery store procedures, merchandising standards, and retail store product knowledge is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette are essential for providing outstanding customer service.
