Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service Operate POS systems such as Verifone and Ruby POS for retail sales transactions and cash register operations Process cash and card payments accurately while handling cash register operations with integrity Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Prepare simple food items following food safety guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces Manage customer orders efficiently in food service environments, including quick service and fast food settings Oversee shift operations by supervising team members, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a clean workspace Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Verifone and Ruby Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous Food industry or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Join us as a Cashier/Shift Lead where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable experiences for our customers!
