Our six specialty shops feature everything from authentic German imports and fresh bakery favorites to handcrafted chocolates, collectibles, and one of Michigan's largest selections of German beers alongside unique wines and craft beverages. We're looking for friendly, confident individuals who enjoy engaging with guests, learning about specialty products, and making thoughtful recommendations that create memorable shopping experiences. Previous retail and/or customer service experience is strongly preferred.

PAY, SCHEDULE & PERKS

Part-Time:

15-35 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$14.00 per hour

Typical Shifts:

8am-4pm

• 11am-7pm
• 12pm-9pm

Wine & Beer Shop:

Help guests discover exceptional beverages from around the world. Featuring one of Michigan's largest selections of German beers, Michigan craft beverages, imported wines, and specialty drinks. We even offer daily wine samples!

Royal Gift Shop:

Over 5,000 treasures from much-loved collectibles to authentic German items, including steins and nutcrackers. You'll also find trendy clothing, beautiful jewelry, contemporary artwork, crystal, and unique gifts for every occasion.

Doll & Toy Shop:

A wonderland of toys and dolls for kids of all ages! Build-your-own dolls, Middleton newborns, Hello Kitty merchandise, Schleich figurines, planes, trains, and so much more.

Castle Shop Bakery :

Freshly baked breads, Stollen, German tortes, gourmet pretzels, pies, coffeecakes, cookies, gourmet foods, cookbooks, unique gifts, and takeout favorites.

Candy & Chocolate Shop:

House-made chocolates, fudge, brittles, gourmet apples, nostalgic candies, sugar-free selections, and a wall filled with jellybeans in every flavor.

Souvenirs & Cheers Shop:

Fun, nostalgic, and uniquely Bavarian souvenirs and collectibles guaranteed to bring a smile.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests with genuine Bavarian hospitality Assist guests with merchandise selection and product recommendations Learn about our specialty merchandise to confidently answer guest questions Process transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments Stock merchandise and maintain attractive, organized displays Keep work areas clean, organized, and guest-ready

QUALIFICATIONS

18+ Years of Age Previous retail and/or customer service experience strongly preferred Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills Comfortable learning about specialty products and making recommendations Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling Ability to operate computer-based cash register
