Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Stock shelves and merchandise displays to maintain an organized and inviting store environment Assist with merchandising efforts to highlight promotional items and new products effectively Maintain professional phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or internal communications Support inventory management by assisting with stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering roles is preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar retail environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is essential for smooth transaction processing Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Knowledge of retail math, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions Previous experience in grocery store environments or retail merchandising enhances your ability to succeed in this role
