Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product inquiries and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including counting cash and giving correct change Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks, including inventory counts and product replenishment Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone or online channels Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in a bilingual environment, if applicable Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory tasks efficiently in a grocery or retail store setting Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive shopping experience Basic understanding of retail math for balancing registers and managing cash transactions Join us in creating an energetic shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
