This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every customer receives delicious, freshly prepared chicken and sides. As a key team member, you will be responsible for food preparation, machine operation, sanitation, and maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us serve our community with excellence and consistency. Duties Prepare chicken and other menu items using proper cooking techniques, including baking and frying, following established recipes and manufacturing standard operating procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, ovens, mixers, and material handling tools such as forklifts when necessary Maintain rigorous sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety regulations Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal standards related to food production, handling, and safety protocols Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of ingredients and supplies while adhering to safety standards in production Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with material handling equipment operation for stock rotation and storage Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) use guidelines consistently to safeguard health and safety during all tasks Troubleshoot mechanical issues with kitchen appliances or machinery promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to GMP policies, conducting quality checks, and documenting processes accurately Experience Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen operations within the food industry is highly preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques including baking, frying, and food processing methods Familiarity with sanitation procedures, HACCP standards, GMP regulations, and safety protocols in a manufacturing or food production environment Mechanical troubleshooting skills for kitchen equipment or machinery are advantageous Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus; certification preferred but not required Basic math skills for inventory management and recipe measurements Strong understanding of food safety management practices and regulatory compliance standards in production environments Experience working with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a fast-paced setting is beneficial This role is paid — we value every team member's contribution!
