Counter & Froyo Specialist Job Description :

If you enjoy people and having fun, you're looking at the right job for you! Our Counter & Froyo Specialists demonstrate a high-level of proficiency at taking customer orders and preparing and overseeing our frozen yogurt service. In addition, they assist our baristas making select coffee and blender drinks, as well as serving our customers. Our crew has the responsibility for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer and is instrumental in building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. They display a high-level of knowledge about or menu and products and are responsible for making a difference to our customers by educating them about our food, drink and treats. In addition, all our crew work closely with other team members and are willing to take direction from management, support other workers where needed, all while providing a high quality guest experience in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Job Purpose:

Create a memorable experience for each and every guest by Consistently setting up, attending to and presenting delicious frozen treats Providing fast and friendly service Maintaining a calm demeanor during periods of high volume and activity Anticipating customer and store needs by constantly being observant Ensuring a clean and safe store environment

Responsibilities:

Proficiently and consistently set-up, oversee and prepare frozen yogurt treats and menu items Educate yourself on the various types of frozen yogurt, topping and treat offerings Answers customer questions regarding product preparation and freshness Keep the order taking/customer line moving while providing each customer with a friendly smile and friendly service, while not wasting time or slowing service Multi-task and reprioritize based on changing customer volume and demands Routinely keep a clean and neat work environment Encourage, sell and serve all menu items to customers

Qualifications/Skills:

Able to work early mornings and afternoons, Mondays - Fridays, some weekends. Enjoy working with people and have excellent people and communication skills Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job Be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools to perform the job properly Be able to perform all job functions safely Possess basic math and cash handling skills Be able to work in a high volume, high energy environment Be clean, neat and professional Learn quickly, follow instructions Be on time and able to work assigned/scheduled times Provide own, reliable transportation to/from job Meet company performance standards for the position

Physical Demands:

The physical demands for this position are hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds, being able to stand for 4-8 hours, move around in congested areas to assist customers, replenish supplies or the ability to accomplish the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work Experience:

Counter attendant, restaurant, retail, or other customer service experience an advantage but not necessary.

Training:

You'll be trained in the following areas Frozen yogurt set-up and product delivery Customer service Order taking, cashier (POS system) Counter prep and display Cleaning procedures
