We're looking for a personable, dependable Cashier to be the face of our restaurant and give every guest a great experience. Position Summary The Cashier greets guests, takes and rings up orders accurately, handles payments, and keeps the front counter running smoothly and efficiently during every shift. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately, in person and/or by phone Operate the POS system to ring up orders and process cash, card, and mobile payments Handle cash drawer accurately, including counting in/out and balancing at shift change Answer questions about menu items, pricing, and current promotions Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and coordinate timing with kitchen staff Resolve guest concerns or escalate to a manager when needed Keep the front counter, dining area, and drink/condiment stations clean and stocked Follow all food safety and handling guidelines when assisting with food or drink prep Assist with opening/closing duties, including counting registers and light cleaning Qualifications Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Food Handler's License/Certification required Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Flexible availability, including [evenings/weekends/holidays] as needed Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Why Join Us Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
