Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing transactions, stocking products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude, ensuring that every customer has a pleasant experience. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their needs. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability. Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales. Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales revenue. Maintain cleanliness in the store, including the cashier area and restrooms. Assist in merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customers. Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and phone etiquette. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations. Experience with stocking, merchandising, and product demos is a plus.
