Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our Restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to operate POS systems efficiently. The Cashier will play a vital role in maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for all guests Duties Operate POS systems to process sales quickly and accurately Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity Assist customers with product questions and provide product demos when needed Upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming Provide excellent customer service through friendly communication and phone etiquette Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks Supervise or assist with product demonstrations to promote sales Assist in maintaining a well-organized register area to optimize dinning and tack out experience Experience Previous cashier or retail sales experience preferred, especially in Restaurants or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are advantageous Experience with upselling, merchandising, and stock management is beneficial Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Supervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$9.00 - $12.00 per hour
