The Cashier will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient service Treat every customer and staff interaction with respect and positivity Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, debit, and other payments Handle cash responsibly and provide correct change Answer customer questions and assist with product or store inquiries Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies Maintain an organized and clean checkout area Monitor product displays near the register and restock items as needed Balance the register and report discrepancies to management Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines Support other store duties as assigned Qualifications Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive, respectful, and community-minded attitude Basic math and computer skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off If you enjoy helping people and working in a fast-paced team environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Snappy's team.
