Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Expediter to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house service, coordinate timely food delivery, and uphold high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. This role is essential in maintaining efficient restaurant operations, ensuring guests receive prompt and accurate service, and supporting a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Act as the communication link between kitchen staff and servers to facilitate efficient order flow. Monitor food preparation progress to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests. Coordinate with kitchen team to prioritize orders based on timing and guest needs. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during service. Assist with food preparation, plating, or other kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, including bussing tables when necessary. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service. Support banquet or special event service by coordinating timely food delivery and setup. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety protocols is highly desirable. Experience with food service, bussing, cooking, or hospitality roles is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards essential for maintaining high-quality service.
