Cashier/Pizza Maker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent time management skills, and experience in the food industry. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, along with a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. Duties Prepare and assemble pizza orders according to customer specifications and restaurant standards Operate POS systems including Aloha and Micros for order entry, payments, and sales processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, dough handling, and baking Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items Manage cash handling accurately during transactions Follow all safety protocols including proper sanitation practices and food safety regulations Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience in the food industry, café, retail, or grocery store settings is beneficial but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or supplies Join our team to deliver high-quality pizza and exceptional service in a dynamic setting where your skills can shine!
