Job Description
Butterflies and Bullfrogs is a fast paced childrens consignment shop serving our local community. We are looking to hire a few team members with availablity Tuesday & Thursday evenings (2-7:45) and Saturdays and/or Sundays. Job Summary As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers in person and over the phone
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information

- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Keep reports of transactions Clothing/Toy Drop Off Intake
- Greet consignors, gather their information and items for consignment
- Research toys for consignment and price accordingly for sale
- Attention to detail is a must, along with strong organization skills while processing appointments
- Prepare items to be tagged and entered into our system
- Picture high demand items for marketing
- Respond to customers via facebook comments and messages Skills
- Experience with computers, excel and facebook
- Phone skills
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing correct change
- Proficient typing and computer skills (not just two fingers ;))
Pay:
$13.00- $15.
