Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos when applicable, and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling duties, including cash drawer balancing, processing payments via POS (Point of Sale) systems, and ensuring secure cash register operations Uphold excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through other communication channels Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible Engage in upselling techniques to promote store promotions, new products, or add-on sales to maximize revenue opportunities Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, adhering to safety and security protocols at all times Skills Proficiency with POS systems and retail cash register operations Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team members during shifts Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising standards, and inventory stocking procedures Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately for sales totals and discounts Experience with product demos and upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement and sales performance Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences!
