As a Shift Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Co-supervise, coach, and support sales associates, and help train new team members on The UPS Store franchise policies and procedures Display and explain best sales practices to achieve sales goals Resolve customer concerns and escalations by phone or at the counter Process shipments for UPS & USPS, including packing, pricing, and documentation Handle print and copy jobs, mailbox services, and other center services Operate the POS system, reconcile the register, and complete end-of-day reports Keep the center clean, organized, stocked, and compliant with brand standards Communicate shift updates, issues, and needs to the Store Manager or owner. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience working at The UPS Store Eligible to become a North Carolina Notary Public (at least 18, high school diploma or equivalent, and meets NC Secretary of State requirements) Available for the full schedule above, including weekends Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with computers, POS systems, and shipping software Able to stand for long periods and lift up to [50] lbs Preferred Completed The UPS Store Certified Operator Training Current NC Notary Public commission Prior experience leading or supervising a team
