Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Tech, where you'll be the friendly face and tech-savvy professional that enhances the shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will combine your customer service expertise with technical skills to assist shoppers, manage transactions efficiently, and showcase product features. Duties Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service and answering questions about products and store services Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, including cash handling, credit card processing, and transaction reconciliation Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation and easy product access Conduct basic inventory tasks such as stocking shelves, tracking product levels, and assisting with inventory counts Demonstrate proficiency with store technology to troubleshoot minor issues or guide customers on device usage Uphold phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Support sales initiatives by promoting store promotions, loyalty programs, and additional products or services Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Engage in bilingual communication when needed to serve a diverse customer base effectively Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; experience with POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and assist customers confidently Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in retail or customer service settings is advantageous Knowledge of store operations or familiarity with retail math for cash handling and sales transactions Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash register operations and inventory management Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional communication over the phone Enthusiasm for technology, with an interest in learning about new products and troubleshooting minor issues Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as stocking for extended periods This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while sharing their passion for technology.
