Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience while efficiently processing their purchases. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with their inquiries. Upsell products and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Other tasks assigned by supervisor Experience Previous experience in a customer service position an in providing positive customer experiences. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills are advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
