Job Summary We are seeking a HIGHLY motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves, restocking items, and managing inventory effectively. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory counts. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Skills Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers. Strong cash handling abilities to manage transactions efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate pricing and inventory management. Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is preferred. Ability to stock shelves effectively while maintaining an organized display of products. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Supervisory experience is beneficial for guiding less experienced staff members. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Experienced in upselling.
