Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Counter Person to join our team at a busy Burger Restaurant in Marlboro NJ. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and organized counter area. Weekend availability is a must for this position. No exceptions. Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently in person and on the phone
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining room
• Assist with bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall dining experience
• Complete all side work before your shift ends. This includes taking out the garbage, cleaning the bathrooms and sweeping/mopping Requirements
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a kitchen, grocery store, or retail environment
• Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions
• Knowledge of sanitization practices to maintain cleanliness standards
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons effectively
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
