As a Cashier at Canton Rodeo, you regularly will be the first connection each guest has with our team, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from the start. Your focus is to make every guest feel welcomed and valued while taking orders and processing payments accurately and efficiently.Compensation Range:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Product Knowledge Learn the full menu, ingredients, and dietary options Be able to guide the guest ordering experience with clarity and care Confidently answer questions and make recommendations to guests Order Taking & Cash Handling Take customer orders accurately and efficiently (in person and via Toast POS) Process payments accurately and responsibly (cash, credit, and digital transactions) Ensure each guest receives correct receipt Balance cash drawers and complete opening/closing procedures Complete cash handling and security training requirements Order and Food Preparation Ensure guests receive their retail, food, and beverages promptly Complete food safety training and follow all safety protocols Cleanliness & Organization Maintain 100% adherence to our uniform standards (including a smile). Shine! Practice "Clean as you go" in all FOH areas including but not limited to POS stations, counter spaces, induction table, bottle drinks bin and display windows Restock supplies as needed (paper goods, cups, utensils, napkins, condiments, retail items, bottle drinks, etc.) Clean on the Outside- Store windows, walkways and immediate parking lot are clean and trash free Clean on the Inside
- Conduct regular dining room and bathroom checks, making sure tables, chairs, floors, bathroom amenities are always kept clean Carry back and/or wash dirty cookware and pans at the dishwashing station as needed Understand and follow all sanitation, safety, and chemical handling requirements Compliance with all food safety and work safety requirements Team Collaboration Communicate clearly and respectfully with Front of House teammates Support coworkers during busy times (jumping in where needed!
