MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for cash handling, receiving payments from customers and giving out correct change.
Ensuring credit card tips are adjusted correctly, before giving customer receipt.
Responsible for cash in the drawer at all times. Making regular drops into the safe, clearing out screen when leaving cash stand.
Responsible for maintaining an idea of the change situation, and alerting manager when you are low on change (before you run out).
Counting back change!
Answering the phone with the proper greeting and maintaining polite and courteous telephone etiquette.
Taking complete, legible phone messages, using proper phone message pad, and distributing them.
Taking to-go orders down on paper before entering them, getting proper information, name, and telephone number.
Checking every to-go order for quality and accuracy before giving out.
Awareness and focus on greeting and seating Customers entering restaurant when there is no host on duty, while maintaining the integrity of the seating rotation schedule
Ensure the customer is happy by asking, How was everything today? (Or reword it according to what you feel comfortable saying).
Get a manager for any problems, questions or concerns expressed by a customer.
Always thank the customer and wish them a nice day.
Remember you and the managers are the only people allowed in the drawer at any time.
Balancing the register every day is essential. Four times over or under $5.00 on the daily paperwork will result in termination.
Responsible for knowledge of necessary computer procedures needed to competently perform job.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Knowledge of processes for providing customer services.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Work is normally performed in a restaurant setting.
A moderate deal of physical effort is required.
Heavy lifting, bending, standing and walking for long periods of time.
Exposure to heat or cold and some chemical exposure

7am-2:30pm - Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday
