What they do

A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

The Associate, Accounts Poster is responsible for the receipting, recording, balancing, posting and adjusting of payments received from insurance companies, patients, etc.
Education/Training:
High School diploma required. Some college preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience :
At least two years cashier, cash posting, accounting or related position required. Strong accounting background preferred and demonstrated problem-solving skills. Knowledge of computers and business office machines required. Knowledge of insurance companies required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, with a required skill of Microsoft Excel. General knowledge of reconciling and payment posting a requirement.
