Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Phone Operator, where you will be the friendly face and voice that creates memorable guest experiences. In this lively role, you'll handle transactions with precision, provide exceptional customer service, and manage phone inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment, ensuring every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in or checkout processes using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Process all cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, providing information or directing calls to appropriate departments. Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person, delivering excellent guest relations and resolving issues efficiently. Support food service operations by assisting with orders or coordinating guest requests when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and phone area to ensure a welcoming environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of hospitality. Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel or restaurant experience is a plus. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently under pressure. Experience in hospitality, serving, or guest services is preferred but not required. Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
