Step into the action at Tioga Downs as a Cage Cashier—a key position at the heart of the casino floor. If you enjoy working with numbers, thrive in a high-energy environment, and take pride in delivering top-tier guest service, this is your chance to build valuable experience in a secure, professional setting.
What You'll Do:
Accurately balance your assigned cash drawer and maintain precise records
Handle a wide range of guest transactions, including:
Check cashing & credit card advances
Slot ticket redemptions & chip cash-outs
Lottery transactions & currency exchanges
Safeguard cash, chips, vouchers, and other assets at all times
Count, verify, and balance funds across multiple banks (main bank, chip bank, sportsbook, and more)
Process transfers of cash, coin, and tickets with proper documentation
Prepare daily deposits, including cash, checks, and coin
Maintain ticket redemption kiosks
Ensure compliance with all regulations, including Title 31 Anti-Money Laundering requirements
Stay informed on property events and promotions to assist guests
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
Coursework in banking, finance, or a related field is a plus
Strong math skills (basic arithmetic, percentages, etc.)
Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and accountability
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused mindset
Work Environment & Schedule:
Fast-paced casino environment with a lively atmosphere
Must be comfortable standing for extended periods
Flexible availability required—shifts may include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays (we're open 365 days a year, 9 AM - 3 AM)
