Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Time Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations during the evening hours, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. As a Night Time Cashier, you will be responsible for managing sales transactions, operating POS systems, handling food and retail sales, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our customers while supporting the overall success of our establishment. Duties Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accountability Assist customers with food service orders, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities Prepare simple food items or assist in food preparation to meet customer demands during night hours Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards Manage food handling responsibilities following food safety protocols to ensure quality and safety Operate kitchen equipment safely when needed and support quick service operations during busy periods Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for processing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during night shifts Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively when required Proven customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Retail sales experience with upselling techniques is a plus Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Night Time Cashier where your energy fuels our success!
