Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service at the counter Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity Assist in food preparation, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including bussing tables and food handling stations Support food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food responsibly Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of food items Engage in basic math for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and inventory checks Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Solid understanding of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer experience and sales revenue Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and grocery store experience familiarity Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; retail or grocery store experience is a plus Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, bussing, and food safety regulations Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy makes a difference!
