Duties Prepare a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats, cheeses, and assembling sandwiches with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery with a focus on quality and presentation. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Assist customers with their selections, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and other food preparation tools, adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or café experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food industry standards.
