Key Responsibilities Customer Hospitality:

Warmly greet every customer who approaches within 10 feet with eye contact and a genuine smile. Offer helpful assistance, answer product inquiries, and wish every guest a pleasant day upon departure.

POS & Cash Management:

Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) register to process sales, returns, and exchanges while maintaining high standards of cash handling, balancing, and daily drawer reconciliation.

Product Knowledge:

Engage with customers to share knowledge about featured local items, offer product recommendations, and answer questions.

Inventory & Operations Support:

Participate in stock counts, stock replenishment, and general upkeep to keep the market running smoothly.

Bulk Portioning & Bagging:

Measure and package bulk inventory (such as flour, grains, spices, or dried goods) into standard retail-sized quantities, ensuring bags are properly weighed, sealed, and clearly labeled with accurate product details and weights. Qualifications & Requirements Previous cashiering or POS experience preferred. Commitment to outstanding hospitality and active customer engagement. Excellent communication skills and basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling. Knowledge of local market product lines and merchandising techniques is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
