Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Stocking associate, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances the customer experience and keeps our store running smoothly. In this energetic role, you will handle retail sales transactions, operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for all shoppers. Whether you're ringing up purchases, assisting with product demos, or organizing merchandise, your contribution is vital to our store's success and customer satisfaction. Duties Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling and balancing at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance sales Assist customers with product demos and explain features to promote new or featured items Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and replenishment activities Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting are a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow your career in retail!
