Your core skills in cash handling, POS systems, and food service will enable you to efficiently manage orders and payments while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. With a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and a commitment to food safety, you will contribute to a positive dining experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will further enhance customer satisfaction in our fast-paced environment. Join us and make a difference in our team! We currently have open position both in the morning shift (8 or 9am-2pm for Monday-Saturday), and afternoon shift(4pm-8pm for Mon-Thr, 4pm-9pm for Fri-Sat). Please apply if you can do at least 3 days a week. Can be full time if proven to be a hard worker. Mainly prep work before opening at 11am, so a candidate is not required to have a high level of skill set but must be comfortable dealing with knives. Starting pay will be $15/hr plus tips that are distributed among crew members (typically $2-4/hr), totaling $17-19/hr.

Responsibilities:

Work in a compact kitchen environment include food prep, dishwashing, and cleaning in a high-paced, small-area setting. The space requires two people to move and work efficiently in close quarters (as narrow as 20 inches in width), so the role may not be suitable for individuals who are uncomfortable in very tight spaces or have limited mobility or flexibility. Greet customers as they approach the cash register and respond to any questions they have about the menu or payment options. Operate cash register and process payments for orders. Assist with take-out orders and ensure accuracy of items and payment. Calculate total payments received at the end of the shift and balance cash register with receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier station and surrounding area. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Prior food prep, cashier or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
