SPIRE Position Summary:

The Concessions Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions, food and beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized concessions area. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a pleasant experience.

Food and Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed.

Cash Handling:

Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Reconcile cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.

Sanitation and Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized concessions area, including counters, equipment, and storage spaces. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Assist in setup and breakdown of the concessions area before and after events.

Other Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Support additional venue operations as needed.

Qualifications:

15 years or older High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in customer service, food service, or retail is a plus but not required.

Skills:

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

Other Requirements:

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
