Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food assembly or packaging in accordance with food safety standards Upsell products and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station, food prep areas, and surrounding environment in compliance with health regulations Support food industry operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours Requirements Prior experience in food service or retail environments is preferred; familiarity with quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions and sales tracking Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining energy and focus Previous experience in cashiering, serving, or cashier roles within the food industry or grocery stores is highly desirable Join us as a Night Shift Cashier to deliver memorable experiences that keep our customers coming back!
