MR Vault Clerk General Definition:
Responsible for issuing, collecting, transferring and counting of all monies.Supervision Received:
Shift Supervisor Essential Job Functions:
Issue banks to all POS stations and Kiosks so monies will be available to customers. Stack currency manually and sort, count, and wrap coins so counting and recording of all monies received through the facility will be accurately accounted for. Properly count down all clerks for total monies, subtracting change banks and recording all actual amounts counted on proper forms to document the accuracy and accountability of operations. May pull and replace canisters from the gaming machines to assist with the drop. Comply with facility policies, procedures and standards ensuring the money room is in compliance with all MICS and TICS. Perform all other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Training and Experience:
One year banking and/or cash handling experience with large sums of moneyKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies Must possess the ability to handle/count large amounts of cash utilizing currency and coin counters Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, possess good manual dexterity, and hand/eye coordination, but these requirements are based on needs of facility and staffing Proficiency with 10-key adding machine may be required in order to perform assigned job duties correctly Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environmentLicenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions Combination of first and second shift, weekends required 29 Hours WeeklyBenefits
