Come join the Philly Po' Boy Company team! Philly Po' Boy Company is a new, independently owned, New Orleans inspired fast casual restaurant opening in the Kensington/Fishtown area of Philadelphia. We are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Front of House Team Members to join our opening team. Our Front of House Team Members are an important part of the guest experience. We are looking for people who enjoy interacting with customers, bring a positive attitude to work, and are ready to work as part of a fast-paced team. Restaurant experience is a plus, but it is not required. We can teach you the job. We are looking for people who are dependable, friendly, willing to learn, and excited to help us build a welcoming neighborhood restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash register operations Learn our menu and answer guests' questions efficiently Assemble, package, and check orders for quality and accuracy Run food to guests at the counter and in the dining area Assist with takeout and delivery orders Keep the front counter, dining area, and workstations clean and organized Restock supplies and complete assigned opening, closing, and side work Help resolve basic customer questions or concerns Communicate with the kitchen and other team members to keep orders moving Help create a great experience that keeps guests coming back Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with Toast POS systems; experience with cashiering or retail sales transactions is a plus Quick learner who takes direction well Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to prioritize tasks effectively and stay organized and comfortable in a fast-paced setting Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Reliability, punctuality and strong communication skills Able to stand for extended periods Willing to help wherever needed as part of a small team
