Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions swiftly and accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including merchandising displays. Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions. Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
