Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, manages transactions efficiently Your enthusiasm for retail sales, combined with your strong communication skills and attention to detail, will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated. This position is approximately every other weekend, with an occasional need to switch with other employees to cover shifts. If possible, be available during the week to cover for manager if needed. Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Manage cash handling duties including cash drawer balancing, issuing receipts, and processing various payment methods Maintain proper phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks as needed Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Strong communication skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations confidently Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and sales strategies will set you up for success Join us to become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
