Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Snack Bar Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter at our bustling snack bar. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy providing excellent customer service. As a key member of our food service team, you'll handle sales transactions, prepare simple food items, and ensure a clean and welcoming space for all guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every visitor, making each interaction memorable and enjoyable. Duties Operate POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Manage food service customer orders, including taking orders, entering data into POS, and ensuring timely fulfillment Prepare basic snack items and assist with food handling duties to support kitchen operations Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change using cash handling best practices Support food safety management by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling techniques, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the snack bar area Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Experience with food preparation, food handling, or culinary tasks is advantageous Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and balancing register at shift end Join us in delivering quick, friendly service that keeps guests coming back!
