Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system for transactions. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to health and safety standards. Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus, along with basic math skills for handling transactions. Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha, is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. A background in retail math or sales can enhance effectiveness in this role.
