South Dakota Gaming License Required Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Desk/Cashier and be the welcoming face of our vibrant venue! This energetic role combines exceptional customer service with efficient cash handling, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. You'll manage guest interactions, process transactions seamlessly, and uphold safety protocols to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all visitors. Whether coordinating event logistics or assisting with retail sales, your enthusiasm and organizational skills will keep our operations running smoothly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in a lively environment that celebrates community engagement and hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest services and information about events or activities Process cash, credit card, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately and efficiently Manage ticketing, registration, and check-in procedures for events or activities Maintain safety protocols by adhering to health guidelines and emergency procedures, including basic first aid and CPR when necessary Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolving conflicts or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Assist with event management tasks such as setting up venues, managing crowd flow, or supporting outdoor work activities Support retail sales by stocking merchandise, processing sales transactions, and providing product information Skills Proven experience in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality environments Strong cash handling skills with familiarity using POS systems and processing transactions accurately Excellent communication skills for public speaking and guest interactions Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification preferred Experience working with children or in outdoor work settings is a plus Familiarity with event venue operations, hospitality standards, or theater experience enhances your suitability for this role Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor setup activities Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences!
