What You'll Do:
- As a Vendor-Hawker at Sodexo, you will be responsible for selling food and beverage items in a mobile service model throughout event spaces, including seating areas, concourses, and designated public areas.
This role focuses on high-volume sales, guest engagement, and efficient service while moving through crowds during live events. The Vendor-Hawker represents the brand directly to guests and plays a key role in driving sales and enhancing the overall guest experience. Responsibilities may vary based on venue type, event format, and business needs.
- Responsibilities include:
- + Carries food and beverage products using approved vending equipment (trays, baskets, backpacks, or carts).
+ Actively engages guests and promotes products while maintaining professional and respectful interactions. + Processes cash and/or cashless transactions accurately using approved payment methods. + Maintains proper security of cash, payment devices, and product at all times. + Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. + Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity + Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
What You Bring:
- + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
+ Previous retail, sales, concessions, or vending experience preferred. + Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification, and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements. + A Food Handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.
