Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash register operations Handle cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing at shift end Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized, properly priced, and visually appealing through effective merchandising Conduct upselling by suggesting additional products or promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain phone etiquette when interacting with customers or vendors over the phone, providing clear and courteous communication Skills Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in both bilingual (if applicable) and monolingual contexts Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation Experience in stocking, inventory management, and product demos to engage customers effectively Familiarity with cashiering procedures, upselling strategies, and phone etiquette to foster positive interactions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
