Availability Requirement:

Must be available to work weekday daytime shifts and have a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed. Manage cash handling duties including cash drawer balancing, making change, and processing various payment methods securely. Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains inviting and well-presented for customers. Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product knowledge is current to assist customers effectively. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies, conducting stock checks, and participating in periodic inventory counts. Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure smooth store operations. Engage in product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience. Experience Previous retail or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous. Supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings are a plus, demonstrating your ability to guide team members when needed. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively. Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette, active listening, and clear communication are essential. Experience with upselling techniques and product demonstrations will help you excel in this role. Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
